Problem with TT pedals...

I bought the pedals from VAG-Parts last week for the Ibiza and fitted the Brake & Clutch ones no problem, however the accelerator is causing a bit of a problem.

I've read that some trimming is needed and some sticky back tape which I have and was going to do today, but the pedal itself seems shorter than the current one ... is that correct?

I took a photo, excuse the dirt - the car needs a good clean inside at the moment.

Back it for the LHD drive one mate, then the solution to your problem will become very clear! :D

Can you not just buy the Cupra pedals? They look identical to the one in your pic.

They are listed in ETKA:

8N0 721 173 A - Brake
6Y2 721 647 - Accelerator
6Y2 721 174 - Clutch

But maybe dealers won't order them for some reason.

Cool thanks for the replies... I'll get onto VAG-Parts and see if they'll allow me to exchange for an LHD one (Should be more square?)
