Problems with 1.8T

A mate of mine is having probs with his 1.8T

It's losing power and its recently cut out on him.

Haven't had it VAG COM'd as of yet.

Anyone know what it might be?

I thought it was MAF sensor...

AND I also thought it may have been in limp mode but with it cutting out I'm not so sure

Get it vagcom'd and see if theres any fault codes, without them your tiddling into the wind.

if its cutting out mite need a throttle body clean and basic settings. best thing u can do is get it plugged in and go from there.
