In Australia we don't have any kind of walk away Auto Lock or arrival Auto Unlock feature - just standard touch the handle to lock or unlock.

Watching this video here:
I am curious do all UK Cupra Formentor VZx have this feature ?

Or does this have to be unlocked ? And if so how ?

My VZ2 has to option to autolock when you walk away, but I don't trust it, so I've disabled it and just touch the doorhandle to lock the car. This means I don't have to turn around when I walk away to see if the damn mirrors have folded or not.

My car also has auto unlock and lock when you approach and walk away from it. Like you, I also don’t trust this feature and if it wasn’t part of my car’s standard spec, I’d never ever have paid extra to have it. The only time I re-enable it is when my car goes back to the dealership for its annual service. I disabled it again as soon as the service has been carried out.

Another of those ‘must have’ features I could easily live without………

I coded my MY21 car to have it, but it only auto-unlocks... Even though I did the necessary coding and enable the options to be visible in HMI (you need to toggle them to on after coding) the auto-lock never worked.

I suspect in newer cars it will work

Coded mine with OBD11 no problems. works perfectly, I'm in Australia.
Thank you Darren. Whether I trust this feature or not - fact remains I keep forgetting to lock my car myself. The touch sensor isn't always sensitive and sometimes I'm just in a rush. So in reality - even if this feature "sometimes" didn't work it would be better than me never locking it anyway.

That's exactly the reason I wanted it.

I coded it (one click apps don't always work).

Following up, my friend has a Skoda Octavia VRS mk4 that comes with the feature from factory and it too doesn't lock - only unlock on approach.

Same goes for my partner's Skoda Enyaq VRS - it unlocks but doesn't lock.
