Almost a year since I read this last and I'm at a new job once again reading it during the quiet period ;)

Got a few ideas for my own, I'm definitely after 250 so a few tips here I'll take note off

Hope manage to hit the 300 someday :seatgod:

I hope you'll hit the 250 you want, and if you need any advice feel free to ask me.
Car's about 295-300 on a maha. I could get w/m or a bigger hybrid to go above 300, but I don't want to spend any more money on it and I'm pretty happy as it is now.
I think it's run its course and it's time to move on, so I've started saving for an Evo X. :)

I'm wondering if you changed your air filter to the front of the bay now? I cant decide between the one you had made by Defsta carbon, the one that Troupy made himself or a Forge one (FMINDBOC)

Get whichever is easier for you to find and fit, the differences are minimal.

Just one question, regarding the clutchs. Have you heard about the upgraded ones from tmg ? Something about a kevlar reinforced ones?
Or did you just get OEM?

Which were the symptoms you encountered to diagnose the mechatronics failure?

There were many issues you can't miss it. There was a lot of jerking/stalling when changing gears in traffic (especially 1st to 2nd) as if I let the clutch go too quickly on a manual car, on full throttle the car would downshift to 2nd gear and the gear would flash on the dash. When that happened the car wouldn't change gear. I had to restart the car to get it to shift again.
Are you having any issues?

I'm having some shudder between 1st and 2nd, as you said, like when in a manual car you dump the clutch too soon. Not having the gears flash nor problems changing gear though.
The shudder only presents itself when in dense traffic and when engine at hot temperature. Otherwise no problem at all...
So perhaps the clutch is starting to go I guess.
I've had another problem though, like a tik tik when cold, but it's not present all the time, like it comes for like 5secs then it goes, then it comes, then it goes... Once I start driving it fades and doesn't return until next morning when cold

What a great thread! Highly enjoyed reading this, defiantly given me some inspiration, don't think ill be getting up to 300bhp but would love to get mine to 250bhp.

Wow Your Car Looks AMAZING Queen ! Good Job
How Was The Lamin X to put on ? Heard Mixed reviews about it & does it fade over time ? Was looking online and the Gunsmoke looks light on the page but looks Dark on yours, maybe just the lighting ?
