I can leave dsg into D mode and still get key out? Is this supposed go to like this? I know that in some other cars wont let you do it like that..
 
Cant say ive tried it tbh.

You have to have your foot on the brake to disengage the selector lock so you cant put it into drive without the ignition on.
 
Right i've tried it now and yes you can take the keys out in any gear so sorry for the miss info there.

Would appear it doesnt have the same locking device as the Leon.
 
all the auto car's i've driven (all jag's and landrover's) let you turn the ignition off in any gear. It doesn't do any damage as you can only start it in P anyway.
 
The ford galaxy won't let you remove the key from the ignition if it isn't in PARK hahahahahahaha. The first time I did it I thought the ignition was bust, felt a right twit hehehehehehe
