I think even an FR diesel would have him. Tell him that, I am sure he wont be happy that a diesel will beat him listening to what type of guy he is, as he will probably think that diesels are old chugga boxes now hahaha.

I once raced a bog standard imprezza turbo in my bog standard 1.8t cupra, in a legit 8th mile timed drag race. He won, marginally by a couple of hundredths of a second, and I mean it was practically a draw. Absolutely nothing in it. And that was a turbo, his turdo with have nothing on you.

i got 149 mph verifed by sat nav , was showing 152 on clocks, having had a scooby clearly the guy at your work noes nothing about cars mate , when i first got mine is made 215 bhp on dyno boggged standard 93 model wrx and raced a leon cupra and barely won , spent over 10k on it to get it to 450bhp in end. simple point his a non turbo scooby wont keep up at all with a cupra , you can start i 3rd and still beat him
