found a rocker cover on ebay painted up, looks good. but will it fit my 2L ABF 16v.. its from a mk2 Golf 16v 1.8 ... it certainly looks similar. If i could get a confirmation that would be nice .. thanks

Stu has a KR cam cover

it's not the same as the ABF, but it 'can' fit

When you say 'can' we talking modifications. i only intended in buying it, if i could simply do a straight swap.. Stu has the cordoba right? red cam cover?

The gasket a standard VW part, and the bolts from cover to head? they standard parts or is it a case of just finding some that fit.

Standard parts all the way, tho theres nothing to stop you adding some bling M6 allen heads. The two bolts I'm talking about are the the ones between the spark plug openings, the ABF cover has the bolts recessed covered by rubber bungs where ass the KR has them prominent
