Radio automatically starts playing when the Ignition Is turned on?

Morning all. I've recently purchased a brand new 2026 1 litre Ibiza FR 115, and every time that I turn the ignition on and the car starts running the radio starts to play, Is this normal?

I'm asking because my previous car was a 2023 Ibiza Xcellence Lux, but the radio never used to immediately start playing upon ignition start up.

So Is there any way of stopping this from happening or Is the automatic radio start up pre-programmed at the factory and therefore quite normal?

Was it playing before you turned the car off. It would be normal to pick up from where it left off. May be there is something curious about mib3. You could try the fix all soltion of a reset. Long hold on the on / off to reboot it. Other than that I have no idea.

Good point.

If I've been using the radio in my Ateca, it starts playing when I get back in the car; unless I've been using Android Auto to stream music (Tidal) from my phone when that is what restarts.
