finally finished the design for the new 20' x '10 workshop/stores/office so i can hide the bits 'n' bobs and tools and get some work done at last
all i need now is my cheque cleared and a nice man in a wickes lorry to deliver 150 bits of wood and a shed load of screws

few more bit n bobs done recently but currently all stripped and stacked up in the shelter covered in the contents of the shed so i can get to build the new workshop/storage etc so all go but i've got wood for sure

being made redundant soon so i'm hunting a job that is not motor trade that i hope will help me get back to enjoying cars again so i should have some more regular work done on it now
promised myself I will never be a martyr to it though as it's 'Just 4 Fun' as far as i'm concerned

There's no F in Quality..
a mate is a bus driver in Leeds, and actually thoroughly enjoys it!
Pay isn't too bad either by all accounts.....
My cousin used to drive school buses in the morning/afternoon, and then worked in the garage servicing them during the day !!!

Sorry been so up to my eyes in it i haven't been in here for a few months
Shed as above finally finished
not a bad likeness but getting all filled with my junk daily
with my redundancy dollars i treated myself to another welder and retired the old one off for spares and kicked off patching up a few holes etc and added yet another car in teh shape of rear arms off a mk3 ford escort RS Turbo you'll see lower down where they will sort of fit eventually
that was last week so this week i realised i hadn't checked a few clearances after assuming in my head they would be fine i thought i'd better make sure so i refitted the diff and rear end on one side to be sure
loads more pics but to save boring ya to death i've added em to the gallery http://ratrod.photoblog.co.uk/

the bracket is what i saved off the end of the original outrigger - it was the original mount point for the scimitar's original axle 4-link bars
the new (escort mk3) arm is bushed at the rear and has been modified to fit the original Jaguar axle location but as yet i haven't figured out what and how to mount the front threaded part safely as it's just taped on at moment
need it fitted below ideally to make it easier when i box the chassis back up with the narrower outriggers, reminds me I must get a proper floor piece cut out as a pattern really
