re-build on a gearbox prices

what should i be looking to pay if the seal have gone on the box for a re-build?

which seal, drive shaft seals?
If so not much, easy job.

im paying between £350-500 quid for mine to have 3rd gear syncro's done and bearings replaced. not sure on exact price yet as it depends what it needs when it's opened up.
gives you a rough idea though mate

I would say 5 hours labour plus parts

I had to have this done, after a whole new gearbox which was worrying. It ended up on warranty but im pretty sure the invoice was just;

new gearbox oil, new seal and labour

came under 80 quid mark from SEAT dealership im pretty sure.
