So chaps,

I've bought myself a Neuspeed 28mm RARB for my Leon FR...

Whilst its been getting refubed, i've been gathering bits for it, new Bushes, new Rose Joints, bolts etc..

I've also ordered some Whiteline Lateral locks, has anyone used these and are they needed?

Main reason for ordering them is because the standard plastic locks on my front R32 bar were sand blasted off so i ordered the front ones and thought i might aswel buy for the rear too...

I read a thread on a different forum (wasn't a Vag forum i don't think) where someones rear anti roll bar was moving side to side in the bushes as there is nothing to stop them doing that but does this happen with the Leon's or not?

I realise its a bit of an odd question but any help would be great.

Cheers

Not sure about the Neuspeed bar but I've got the Whiteline 24mm adjustable rear bar on mine and the bushes around where the bolt fixes to the rear beam have never moved.

My neuspeed has never moved!

Worn bushes will cause it to move!

Awesome awesome mod

I won mine 2nd hand on ebay for £52! Just needed new rose joints! Bargain

If you position the bushes right near the bends as suggested in the manual it'll not move unless you have massive amounts of play in the bushes anyway.

For the font they can certainly be useful, but as front anti roll bars that had plastic bits have a thinner section where the plastic was, as long as you have a tight fitting bush that shouldn't move either.

On the whiteline id ditch those weak looking links and get some nice m10 rose joints! Will stiffen it up a bit

Which will also do away with those bushes

Search M10 rose joint

You require

2x female right hand thread
2x male right hand thread

About £15

sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I need the clamps that clamp to the rear beam for the neuspeed kit. I read somewhere that I can use H and R clamps but cant seem to find them anywhere. I see you can buy the whole kit from neuspeed or via awesome but I dont really want to pay £100 just to use the clamps.
