whats everyones idea about binning there rear arch liners. i've taken them off and there so much mud and crap sitting between the liner and arch. only cleaned them off about 2 months ago. they seam a really crap design funneling all the mud and stuff to the lip of the arch. i know there an argument for saying that they are there for a reason..

Well i took them off the girlfriends ibiza and there was loads of mud etc behind them thats prob what makes the arches go rusty, i intend to take the cordy ones off when i gt round to it.

keep the bottom half, the top is useless - but the bottom part will keep the back of the bumper clean (sounds daft, but when you need to take it off....)

looks tidy with an arch liner

yeah thats was my plan. getting the grinder out tomorror. on a different not found my spare ket when i took the rear side panle off it just fell out. so that saved a bit of cash

mark it up, and take it out & cut it. no need for a grinder!

You don't want to miss & cut the fuel pipe, or catch the body shell

I'm attacking my rusty sills 2moro so no doubt the grinder will be out.
I will be putting bits of the ibiza ones on when i get time just to tidy things up a little.

I'm slowly cutting the unwanted parts of mine away with the tyres :D

I took the front ones out and the bumper is loose because they hold it in place. The rear is the same. In fact without the liners you might find you leave the bumper behind eventually as the mount points give way at the top.

i've got the front ones on as you say if holds the bumper in place. but i cut the rear liners. but leaving the bit that covers the bumper. and mine are wearing away at the back to

Well the ibizas bumpers haven't fallen off yet with no arch liners in at all.
