Hi, probably has been covered but so many threads to go through. I had the dreaded water leak in the rear and front passenger footwells. Followed the brilliant guide on here somewhere and replaced all the seals and so far no more leaks to speak of, thank god.

Then my fob packed up so changed the battery but no luck, sent it off to a vag fob electrician to check the internals and just so happens the switches needed replacing. Got it back - did the re-sync but still no joy.

Ran a vag-com and 2 faults came back
01135 - interior monitoring sensor: open circuit
00931 - Locking Module for central locking: rear right:(f223) implausible signal

So at the moment I have the fob key which opens/locks the car using the drivers door lock, red light on the door continues to flash once opened, starts the car no problems however need to do within 15secs or the alarm goes off.

Next when im in the car and use the manual lock/unlock buttons on the door, I press the lock button all doors lock but the rear right unlocks straight away, could this be the implausible signal the vagcom is picking up?... looking through various forums it seems the common cause could be the rear door lock module is faulty in turn causing the fob to mess up. Ive checked the wires and connection behind the rubber sleeve between door & pillar and all seem fine.

Any ideas regarding the 2 fault codes and my overall dilemma
Any help would be much appreciated.

yep done the ROSS route, got hold of a new rear door module, next is the task of changing it. easy/difficult job to change??

I've never anything inside the rear doors: Elsawin is not clear and it looks like a subframe has to come out of the door shell.

As far as I can tell the module does not need any reprogramming.

Installed the new rear lock module and when I operate the manual locks from the inside the rear door operates as normal as doesn't lock again straight away so I think ive cured that problem (FAULTY SWITCH). But in my rush to get it done before it got dark I forgot to attach the spring from the door handle clip to the module, doh....gotta remove the whole thing again tomorrow. The window plugs are a pig to get back in by the way. Hopefully when I try the re-sync again the fob will finally work. fingers xd
