Rear fog light warning

so today was the first time I have needed to turn the fog lights on in my 2018 Leon FR only to get a constant dash warning accompanied with a loud binging tell me to turn my rear fog light off!
Has anyone else had this and is there a way of turning this off?

I think it is MPH related, i.e. 40 MPH (or whatever it is factory set at) is too fast for fog

No but I’ve got Carista, I’ll have a look in the morning to see if there is anything similar as it’s bloody annoying!!

I came across this issue this morning. Did you, or anyone else, have any luck changing this setting with Carista?

I've not had this before and i was doing 50 with my fog lights on yesterday.

Strange... Mine shouts very loudly at me whenever I hit 40mph. Dip below and speed up again, it shouts again. Fortunately, once above 40mph it doesn't continually shout. But still, if there is a way of turning this off with Carista, that would be great!

It's a shame more cars don't do this. It would mean the mindless idiots who drive about with the rear folk blazing when it's not even foggy might actually turn it off.
