Rear Number Plate Bulb Fitment Removal

Hey guys,

How on earth do I replace these bulbs?

I tried to take the cover off with a flat screwdriver but I'm scared of damaging the bodywork!

Is there an easy way of getting these covers out? (Pictures would be nice!)

Went out and took a couple of pictures for you. Just on my phone so there're not great.

There should be a black surround and then a clear plastic cover. You shouldn't be near the paintwork because of the black surround.

This was the passenger side one and the catch thing is on the left. I used a breadknife to open the catch. It's just sort of like the battery cover on a tv remote.
Once unclipped it should come down easy

If you just have a look up at it you should see it all.

After much concentration and determination I finally did it! The clips were really dug into the black plastic cover, thats why I couldnt see it, it was just a gap for me. I had to angle my head in such a funny way to see what was going on!

an E approved LED might be E marked but is e marked for use in a fitting that has been designed for use in a LED fitting and E marked as such
