Good day All, I current have a Seat Leon 2018 FR, I have noticed that recently there has been a strange sound coming from the rear seat the one behind the front passenger seat, its a vibrating sound when going over uneven or bumpy roads the sound is not there on smooth roads. Yesterday I put the seat down flat and drove the car and the sound was gone. I have tried putting tape around the metal part which goes into the seat when it locks in but still the same sound.. Any ideas guys? Thank you !

Hi MG512,
have you tried putting any weight on the passenger rear seat when driving? It might be the seat base isn't clipped in properly?
I took mine out when installing some sound equipment and it was a pita to clip back in properly

Hi Tay-FR, Thank you for your reply Base seems to be solid it seems to be coming from the top end of the seat becus as soon as I drop the seat the noise vanishes. This is what I have done currently but the noise still seems to be there when the seat is put back up

Back when I thought I had a rattle coming from the rear seat, it turned out to be the boot latch.

So I did the same as what you've just done and wrapped a couple of layers of electrical tape around the cylindrical part of the boot latch..
Fixed my rattle... Wouldn't hurt to check this area out....

Thanks for the Tips guys!! Well right now I have drove with this water bottle stuck in between the 2 seats and surprisingly the vibrating noise has gone away, I honestly am so confused as to what is causing the problem! Any ideas or tips..! Sound is definitely coming from where the bottle separates the 2 sides but I cannot see anything which maybe causing it.. thanks in advance!
