Rear view Auto dimming mirror

Hi

Owner of 2021 Ibiza FR

Is the mirror renowned for leaking as wiped a small leak that had run down the windscreen from the plastic cowl a while back but putting hand over the sensor, the mirror doesn't appear to dim

To note that since i wiped the leak there has been no further leak I can see.

Due for it's first service but dealer wants £245 for basically an oil and filter change which cant say I impressed

The rear dimming mirror is working if the light on the front is lower from the back light that is coming from the vehicles then is dimming automatic and its also deactivate if you put reverse gear
