Whos got one and where have you fitted it?
fancy fitting one not because I cant reverse park but because my headunit is capable of using one and I though why not.
Main thing is where could I fit one and which ones the best to go for?
cheers guys :D

I had/have one fitted it all etc and it didn't work so put it back under my bed lol think I could get it to work I just got stressed lol , I mounted it on the rear diffuser under the number plate

Put it in the front ;) then you can get sone cool vids :) my Nate did it and was alway good fun :D

i had one in my black seat.
i made a hole in the boot by the leon sign and connected it with a pioneer deh6600. so everytime i put it in reserve it would show up on the screen :)

that would be a nice thing to have or even rear parking sensors. I dont think the leon's big rear and view make it easy to work out whats behind u! im getting used to it however the thought of my gf trying to resverse in it does make me edgy!!

Theres a rear camera thread here too (also in the M1 Leon forum):

I'm thinking of going down this route too.
With some of the current kits, they also supply the correct size drill bit, for the right sized hole in your bumper, or wherever you wish to mount it.

I'm going for a rear day/night camera for my Leon (Mk2) FR rear valance, which comes with a TFT screen, for up front. At a later date, I will upgrade the standard SEAT stereo for a multimedia screen model - then remove the TFT (that will be used as a temporary measure) and connect the Cam upto to the new Stereo screen instead.

Would be nice to wire it to an AUX channel, so you can switch to that input, when the camera will come on/become live, while you drive. So it doesnt only come on with reverse (which would be the easy way though, tapped off the reverse circuit). ;)

On a similar note, how many use a "CarPC" in their........ car!

Do you think carrying round such a machine still gives you a better multimedia experience over a nice car (multimedia) stereo?? Also how would you "control" it - for example browsing a music library? OR, do you have a full size PC keyboard and mouse tucked down between your legs :D ;)

I am also buying CarPC with rear view camera and I need bright ideas for the location. I think if it is around the registration plate it will get a lot of dirt especially in winter. Any ideas are welcome?

been meaning to do this as i have the jvc avx2, going to put it where the rear wiper was

Have just got a new stereo and i'm a tart so wouldn't mind getting one in mine, anyone got any recommendations on a camera? Only gonna wire it up for reverse and I won't even use it tbh but I want it there because I can lol

heres mine.. on the diffuser.. yo can just see it.. theres another to go on the front too
