rear washer jet

Hi

since i got my car the rear washer jet never works.

i can hear the motor but not water, and the tank is topped up to the top

any ideas?

This happed to mine, the pipe from the front of the car to the rear had come apart. This happened above the trim in the boot. When I tried to use the jet the water was dumped into the boot instead of onto the rear window.

ok so i need to take the plastic panel offf?

i found that mine didnt work when i fiited the fabia conversion

i pulled the nipple out and then tried the washer and water came out

just needed a new nipple from dealer £4

ok had the panel off today which was a nightmare to get off.

anyway pipe was pushed on right, no water in boot.

tried it with pipe not connected, and no sign of water.

I think that the pipe is blocked somewhere along the line.

is there anyway to unblock the pipe?

UPDATE

drove around and kept on pressiing the rear washer jet,and soon enough i started to hear water trinkle.

the thing is the pipe is connected and i cant find the water anywhere

where could this be leaking?

open the boot and feel the passenger side interior. just below the bit where the parcel shelf sits.

i haev the exact same problem only mine worked before i had a tv HU fitted with the tv tuner, cud u tell me how to get the panels off?? does it jus pull off, ive tried before but gived up before i break anything.

if your on about the back plastic panel, it was hard work

i tried to pull it but could bee it breaking, so i took the boot lights out, which revelaed the metal clips, which i squeezed togehter with a setof pliers and easy enough came off

now i need to take the side panel off to find out where my leak it

no worries

im gonna strip mine bak a bit more as well to see where all the water is actually going as i can hear it.

will get the old man to old the stalk while i check for water leaks
