Just had this problem on my car.

I could see the water p*ssing out near the interior boot light whilst getting someone else to squirt the washers.

It was easy enough to fix thanks to this thread :)

Take the two screws out near the interior light and the one behind the rear seat then the trim just pulls off easily.

The interior light comes in handy as a torch so you can see what you're doing ;)

Here's some pics to show the trim removed and the culprit:

mine did exactly the same, think there is an upgrade kit 4 this 2.

I was considering using gaffa tape to hold it on but then thought that the pressure to pop it off would probably pop it off anyway even with tape.

Decided I just won't use my rear washer in freezing temperatures as this was what caused it to pop off. If it does ever come off again it's only a 5 minute job to fix.

time to revive this thread! woo :D I have recently discovered a leak in my rear washer however, it is not coming from the left hand side from the boot. its actually leaking from the washer itself and going back inside the plastic cover and trickling down my boot lock! now my dashboard keeps saying my boot is open when its clearly not :/ anyone had this problem before?

What you'll probably find is the seal around the washer base has gone. Reseal it with some silicone and should he fine. Its probably shorting the connections out so once that drys it should be back to normal

Did u have any luck i got same prob except the waters coming from my front passenger lower door seal after spraying for ages
