basically before i lower my car if like to know how low i can go on the back before the wheel starts going forward? (or at least noticeably forward) anyone got any ideas?

I'm 99% sure you can get a washer/plate for the rear axle to push the whole lot back when lowered.
Wull covered a lot of suspension details/mods on some of his threads, iirc the drop was 20-25mm from stock to keep the handling good.
Too low and you begin to encounter issues with bump steer and the car's centre of gravity will rise, messing up the handling.
Then again if your driving style is low and slow, you're not bothered about how it handles![]()

agree with the above. I was at 35mm and it just started to be noticable but to the trained eye I would add. I'd say 25mm you wouldn't likely notice any great degree of change on stock stance.
Mine is pretty low and has been dropped once before, this was the 2nd time and no change in handling. Also no rubbing. Running AP coilovers.

Mine was very high standard and felt like it was rolling around too much. Had coilovers fitted but not too low and it felt great with much less roll. Lowered it again some more to get a flusher look all round and it feels just as good.

tbh mine feels a bit roll..ie (tbf fitting the arbs to me didnt change much :|)
