Attempting this tomorrow, @AndrewJB , what do you do with the wire attaching the motor or does that come off with the motor? Or do you simply disconnect the wire and leave it in the boot housing? Thanks great guide.

Just unplug the cable from the motor and tape the plug back on itself to stop if from rattling around when you put the trim back on.

All done. As mentioned in the guide, the hardest part is getting the boot trim back on, helps to have two pairs of hands. The bit that was the hardest for me however, was trying to find the correct size sockets. Every single size BUT the ones I needed! Very easy to do though.
