Reduce brightness of infotainment screen at night

Hi, driving the car at night. When using car play the screen on Waze maps is at full brightness.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to reduce the brightnes and if so what’s the process?

To change the screen brightness there's 2 ways.

In the infotainment settings (gear icon with red background), you go to screen > brightness > change to low/medium/high.

You can also go to notifications(little speech bubble in top right corner) > there then a brightness slider this adjusts the brightness of the screen, digital cockpit, and illuminated buttons

Set the colour scheme within the Waze app on your phone to Auto.

Thanks for the reply, will e giving all these solutions a try today/tonight, car is booked in tomorrow for another software update for the blank/black/non responsive screen. Cars only 4 months old and back for a second time. Apart from the infotainment screen issue it’s a fantastic car and much improved from my previous two Leon’.

Been out and tried the waze with the day/night settings. Works fine no more glare. Left settings on auto so will see how it goes.
