My LCR splitter on my LC has taken a beating, it's scuffed, scratched and grazed

I was wondering is there anything I can do to tidy it up? I've used ultra fine grit sand paper in the past on my Evo's splitter but that left it looking misty, and always required bumper gel / shine to make it look presentable

Is there a method to removed scratches etc as above from plastic splitters, i.e. specific grit sand paper in order to get the best finish ?

Or should I just buy another one.

you can carbon wrap it but then it will look pants once you scuff it. Mo a nw one will set you back around £34 or more...

They were £22 last year from Seat :(

as Jay says, Saxo's, corsas, clios.... pretty much frigging any car now has one so they're pushed the price up.

Same in Ireland, ever dude has put one on his VW car, i think its getting to the stage over here where people actually think its an OEM part for passats, golf's, shoda's, audi etc.... the price has nearly doubled.

tyler carbon skinned his with real carbon fiber so wont be as easy to scuff, i dont thing the normal wrap will stick to it unless you flatted it first any ways

true...... yet they diss seat leon's....... i personally think out of all the mk4 golf platform car's the mk1 seat leon is the best looking, the golf looks meh and the a3 is more meh ......

anyway I'm just going to buy another one.....

As posted I had a massive crack in mine so decided instead of paying £40 for the new one I'd get the carbon mods skinning kit for £50 and have some thing different.

Pics of process in my R/R - takes 2/3 days with good weather and ALOT of patience.

Also no scuffing and I have hit things!

Just changed mine up abit for the summer though... Will be updating soon
