Hiya.

I have a APP engine code, and been informed i cant have Direct Port remapping... Does this restrict my options at all as to what remap i can run???

Have had one generic map and wasnt impressed at all, nasty nasty power spikes/surges/overboosting (undriveable). Got it reverted back to standard. My car had thrown a couple of error codes (temp sensor & lambda probe). With these fixed, map still horrible... Am i right in saying Generic maps if put on certain cars can be damned awful??

Has dampened my enthsiasm for more power.

For more info, i have checked on Jabba website and they dont even offer a generic map for the 2000 model APP engined Leon. Is this for any reason??

Am i limited to stage 2 custom remaps??? I am open to all options though am favouring Jabba whether rightly or wrongly.

Sorry for all the questions, have had one bad experience, want to try and prevent a second by being as clued up as possible...

cheers in advance for any help/guidance/experiences you can all share...

Mr Rage

I went to Reddotracing in Watford to get mine done. They removed the ECU and uploaded the map manually.
Turned out with 208bhp which I was pleased with. And for £250.

It must be your car not running right so that map wont be effective enough. Mines took a few weeks to settle in and at the same time had replace a few sesnor here an there. It total transforms the car. i would never go back to standard.
If you not happy try some one else. Every one has a different map.

Mr Rage!!

We can flash that ECU mate with the Custom-Code Phase 1 and I can assure you it will fly and be very smooth across the rev range! :)

As mentioned above there could be an issue with the car so with all remaps we carry out a full diagnostics check and test drive before the remap so if there were to be any faults you will be informed before the map goes on. We also do the same again after the map to ensure everything is working perfect :)

Give me a shout at Trax if you want to have a chat about it :)
