I can mind reading on someone's build thread having there car remapped but when cruising in 6th they said they had the fuel issue better for long drives

Does anythin exist? At the moment I have to see the Inlaws twice a month and it's killing on the fuel bill.

I know the lcr isn't the greatest for fuel but is there a map out there or is It possible to have anyhin done?

I find siting at 70mph the revs is just off 2.5k and if touch the throttle got instant power,

Sorry for such a weird question, thanks

Surely you can have your car custom mapped to suit. A bit less fuelling/boost at cruising speed but a bit more when you want to tramp on . Custom map on rolling road to suit your requirements shouldn't be a problem to a decent mapper

Mine is stage 1 mapped plus turbo back system just fitted fmic but before that on my 600 mile holiday run last week was returning 34-36mpg cruising at between 75-90 with the odd blast when the mrs ain't concentrating. At a steady 70 will do 38 ish

Might help. Ask for low boost in 6th.
Whats revs you at in 6th at 70mph
Switchable maps also available
