Awesome mate!!! I live about an hour away from where your getting it done and want mine done, will be good to know the prices, time it took and what you thought of the staff etc :)

They are a seat dealer arent they? Would the honor the warranty? Also what year is your car?

Sorry for all the questions mate :)

yeah elliot they're are a SEAT dealer, my cupra is a 10 plate so should be ok (read a few threads about MY11 cars not being able to be revo'd), the warranty question is something im going to ask in person when i take it in, i personally think you can negotiate better and harder in person than over the phone and also depends on who you speak to... i'll let u know all the details tomorrow

Yer I read that also but asked Revo in their section on here and he said there shouldnt be a problem, I look forward to hearing from you, thanks :)

Good luck!!

Ur getting it done at lechworth arnt you? If u dont mind me asking how much are they charging? There my local dealers and it's on my list of things to do :)

If the battery in the boot makes it a MY11 then thats what mine is and mine's revo'd. Made sure I made use of the £100 off for christmas. They had to read my ECU on day one. I went home. They phoned me up on day three and said come down to have it done. The guy said he had to send something to revo then they sent something back.

I've not really been able to try it to it's full potential though because since I've had it done every road has been wet or icy!!

MY11 can be revo'd. i've got a MY11 cupra, i asked revo if the MY11 has problems with revo as i heard the ecu needs to be removed and opened.

thats their answer to that:

Hi srack;

No these vehicles aren’t affected by this yet! your local dealer will be able to flash your car through the port without removing your ECU!

Revo Developments Limited

i am going to my dealer on sunday to have it revo'd.

Well had my car Revo'd for 4k miles now, the clutch is slipping and the turbo is on the way out.

Wouldn't recommend it TBH.

I keeed I keed,

Its great you'll love it and save a few £££'s when you drive slow on the motorway too.

updates#####

took my MY11 cupra today to my local revo dealer.
he was waiting for me, and already had all files for the model.
took 20min to install. connected the switch to change to 98 fuel settings.
we did a test drive.

car has 2000km on it, TBH, the different i felt is not that big. i did felt a bigger kick at around 5000rpm, and the rev went high quickly. but not a 35bhp different.
the dude from dealer said that after 100km it should be better. since it takes few driving revs for the ecu to get the new settings currectly (sounds odd to me.).

how can i be sure the revo is installed well? is there a way? he also said the garage cant see it is installed since it doesnt change anything in the ecu numbers etc. so the warranty wont be void.

thanks.

It does take a little time to kick in. When I changed from stock back to 99+ it didn't feel as quick as first.

Not too sure tbh, I know I had to run two tanks of v-power before it would take the new settings. I have the sps switch so it was first installed to match the fuel I was using and then after using 2 tanks of v-power I changed it to the highest setting and yes you can defo feel the difference. I put it back to standard when it went in for a new rear bumper and it sucked! Gotten too used to the 215-220bhp I have now.

well, the sps switch should be here soon.
but dealer retailed it at 180gbp.
is it the price in u.k for the switch?

thanks.

The RRP price for the SPS is £149 I believe.

With VAT @17.5% £175.07

With VAT @20% on 4th JAN £178.80

so seems about right +-£

thanks for the response.
well, yesterday night i took the car for a drive.
first time i felt the power of revo. car flew all way to 200.
very nice upgrade.
so what i can say is that the MY11 can be revo'd without any problem. it only takes a couple of minutes and worth every penny out of it.

we didnt receive the sps switch in our country yet. will wait for it and purchase it.

thanks.
