When the turbo does eventually go will it damage the engine? or can you just buy another 130 turbo and away you go again?

I've shown 318ft/lb on Awesome's rollers from the Revo stage 1 generic map with no other modifications. No clutch issues at all. I think the problems from the sub-300 doom mongers are more to do with a lack of control rather than the torque being too much.

hopefully ill be getting my fr in a week or so, been looking around for stage one re-map, not sure where to go though! any suggestions bearing in mind costs and gains?
From North Yorks I'd more than likely go to RS tuning in Leeds. All depends on how you want the car to drive as each company maps them differently....
yeh i was looking on their site before, look good! i go to college in leeds 2 weeks out of every 6 so could be ideal! Though not far from where im getting my fr theres a revo distributor, ive emailed him for prices and availability etc so will just have to see! any other mods youd recommend with the map, panel filter etc? im just so new to this seat and diesel scene!
You can do all sorts! I'm currently in the process of fitting a hybrid turbo. Should be looking at 230bhp and 370ft/lb of torque once I'm done. That's on a diesel.

Front mount intercooler;
decent exhaust system
With that you should be seeing best part of 280ft/lb of torque and 180bhp.

awesome, a long way to come, be a fun drive home with the power though! Once i buy the car should have a good chunk to play with to get me started, was supposed to be paying insurance off in one but i can see the modding bug biting me again!

Well, I bought this car saying i was just gonna tint the windows and change the alloys. I must've spent nearly as much on mine now as I paid for it!
Even a good map at that power is very good fun! I think I'm running 186bhp and 286ft/lb of torque now. It's very pokey and puts a few cars to shame! Mondeo ST220's etc. You'll enjoy it!
