Remote side mirror folding

Hello all.

I've asked this question in various forums (fora?) but still have not had an answer.

Is it possible, using vagcom or at a dealership, to recode my ECU's convenience control unit so that I can remotely fold the electric side mirrors using the close button on my key fob?

I can currentlly fold/unfold the mirrors using the switch inside the car but would like this extra function if it is available.

Anyone know?

as far as i know this is not possible only AUTOWINDOW do the kit for auto window and mirror closing.

Hi there.

I was originally told by more than one dealership that it was not possible for me to programme the ECU to raise/ lower the windows using the key fob. I found the necessary codes right here on this site and this now works.

As the dealerships were proven wrong with the windows I feel that it may be possible that they are wrong about the side mirrors too. The SEAT technician that programmed the windows was so impressed that he didn't charge me for the half-hour labour that he qouted me. He also begged me to come back to him with the side mirror codes if I ever found them out.

It may not be possible to remotely fold the side mirrors using the key fob without resorting to Autowindow reflex but I would really love to have this functionality without the need to fit aftermarket wizardry and risk invalidating my warranty.

Any ideas? There must be some genius out there who knows for definite.

Is this the correct part to get the windows and the mirrors to activate thru the keyfob?
