Hi

I have an LCR on 2004/54 plate. I was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the standard CD/Radio. The only thing I can see are two slits on the left and right below the control buttons.

Thanks in advance.

IIRC you can either get a pair of keys from Halfrauds to push in the gap and it will slot out.

Alternatively a cut up credit card or similar pushed in the slots will release it.

It's a 2 minute job at most. What you putting in its place?

Thanks for the reply.

All that I want to put in it's place is my Kenwood Cd/MP3 player from my old car.

So if I can find something to fit in the two slots it should just pull out?

yep. two flat blades about the size of mini hacksaw blades. Bear in mind you MIGHT need an aerial amplifier because the Seat head unit has one built in. try it before you buy - I didn't need one! And don't forget the facia adapter (autoleads - about $6) cos the Seat head unit is wider!!
