removing antenna (ive searched already)

according to search, i need to unscrew antenna then pull off. problem is no matter how hard I pull I cant seem to get it off. roof is worryingly moving up and down with each pull so I dont want to dent it.

Dealer seems to think headliner needs to be dropped, but that doesnt make sense to me as the antenna itself tilts back when unscrewed.

Any help?

basically your doing it right
but try not to pull for extended time
put your left hand on the base, right hand on the aerial, and give it ONE hard pull-short and sharp

Yep same with mine. Was a bit of a biatch but it came straight out after a short sharp tug!

I rested my elbows on the roof and just applied pressure - couldn't get it out with one sharp pull !!

I applied pressure pulling it out, & it popped out after about 5 secs !

As above, when changing mine it needed to be unscrewed so far and then have a bit of brute force applied.
