Hi everyone. I'm new here having just ordered my new Leon Stylance +Sports pack 2.0 TDi in Candy white.

Something I've realised since ordering is that the leon is quite colour sensitive - it can look a lot better if you pick the right colour, and the one I've picked only looks good in the sportier guises of FR and Cupra.

I am looking at getting the FR bumpers for it, so I asked my local dealer who told me this wasn't possible as the clips are in different places on the Stylance and FR. Is this true, or was he trying his best to sell me the k1 £3000 cupra bodykit?

Also, how much work is involved? Do the headlights and grille have to come out first? This wouldn't be too much hassle hopefully?

I have scans of the fitting instructions if they're of use?

As far as I am aware the Stylance is no different to the Sport and I've had FR bumpers installed on my Sport which went on fine.

Admittedly I bottled it and had someone do it for me, but looks great!

Ooh yes please Space Coyote!

Even if the dealer was telling the truth, there's always a way.

Removal of the rear bumper is fairly straightforward.
Remove all the screws along the lower edge of the bumper. Take out the tail-light sections on the bodywork and you will find more screws which need to be removed. Remove the screws that go through the splash guards into the bumper. You will find these screws to the rear of each wheel arch.
The rear bumper snaps into plastic clips along the straight line where the bumper meets the rear quarter panel.
To remove the bumper you will need to pull it out of the aforementioned clips. Stand at the side of the car and pull the bumper towards your-self and away from the car. Believe me IT WILL BE VERY VERY TIGHT and the chances of breaking some of the clips is HIGH. When free, unplug the number plate illumination lights and that's it.
Fitting is basically the same procedure in reverse. Line up the new bumper with the plastic clips and snap into place and then replace all the screws. Don't forget to plug in the lights.
Good luck guys.

The FR rear bumper will go straight onto any lesser model.
Been there, done that !!!!!!!!!!! Haven't tried the front one but I'd be surprised if it's different.

The attachments don't seem to be available. Does anyone know anywhere on the internet where the fitting guides could be found?
