Ive got a bluetooth parrot system in my car and i havent used it nor will i ever as i just use a bluetooth headset. The control bit just has a piece of metal coming out of it and slots between the top of vent and the dash, same with the cable. I dont like it and would prefer to get rid of it but how easy is it to get rid off? I know theres something behind the headunit which gets in the way as i cant get headunit to go all the way back but im unsure if it is for the parrot system or not? It like a black thing with VW/Audi on it and has a plug in connector like the picture below. Also i know the mic is easy to remove Is this all there is to the kit or is there more? Just looked on ebay and found theres a blue box for it somewhere. Grrrr. Time to get searching i suppose. Cheers.

Its really easy to remove the kit.

All wiring will trace back to the blue box (the brain). Its normally located behind the head unit donw the back off the heaster control unit. The blue box is about the size of a pouch of tobacco.

Once youve located the box you should see where the loom intercepts the standard car loom and simply unplug it all.

If you want to put some pics of yours up ill have a look n try to advise more :)

Hope this helps a bit :)

are you selling it?

Yep, but im not sure if my brother wants it though. If not, it will be up for sale. Cant stand not having a for sale section on this forum. Every other forum ive been on has one. Yes i know about people not recieving items, etc... but on another owners club i was on with my old car, you had to either pay £2 (one off payment) to be able to sell stuff or buy the full membership pack and pay for goods via paypal goods and not gift so everyone is covered. Cant see why we cant have that on here grrrr.

Yep should remove as I said.

You should be able to remove the air vent to get the cabling out. :)

Vent is already out bud. Hopefully get my liquid gauge tomorrow so im planning on removing the parrot system while the vent is out :D
