3 8mm hex bolts on rear and 4 on front from what i can remember, didnt have any issues removing them on a 7 year old lc

I want to powdercoat them...look ugly when loosing colour.

Steely, how long & easy was this for you?

**These are not the Mud Flaps but the steel coverings that protect the disks on the hub**

you have to take the caliper and back hub off to take the back 1s of about half hour each side if you no what you doing.

If the splash guards have gone dull (bloomed) but are not rusty, they come up a treat with a bit of fine cutting compound (3m "finnesse it" or Menzerna final finish etc), then whenever You detail & polish Your car, give the guards a going over too to keep them all lovely & shiny ( works a treat on the calipers too) these parts need as much tlc as the rest of the paintwork on the car especially considering the hostile environment where they are situated.

The rears will need the rear hub removed. This will almost never come off in 1 piece resulting in a new one being required @ circa £80 each.

Yep I had all 4 wheels off today when detailing my car, the guards polish up very well indeed.
