i was under the impression that there is a grommet round the door inline with the barrel area-ish . then a bolt behind this? undo it and slide the lot out? could be wrong though

There is a wee rubber circular gromit 1/2 way down the side of the door panel, u pop that off and behind that is an allen bolt.

Find the correct sized allen key and undo the screwn, once thats out its just a case of wiggling the handle from the outside and it will come out with the barrel and what looks like a metal lollypop stick lol

Do you know how the otherside of the handle comes out? I've undone all of the bolts and the side with the lock is lose but the other side is stuck?!?

You undo the allen bolt and then slide the whole handle towards the front of the car, it should move forwards about 1/2 an inch then you'll be able to pull the side with the lock towards you and then slide the front out.

Reverse that to put it all back :)

(it took me a while of wiggling to work all that out)

pop grommet inside door edge

undo allen bolt

pull handle towards you so lock section comes away from panel and sort of guide it up and over the door catch finger tab

slide towards back of car to release front part (sort of slid in sprung loaded)

refit is reverse as usual

dont refit trim yet as you'll need to scoop out all the broken bits out the bottom :)
