Replacement tyres at what mileage

I have just ordered a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres as I got a puncture yesterday and all 4 tyres are 3mm or less from Costco for £613.56 inc vat fitted. Hopefully they will be delivered on Monday so I can get them fitted ?

So you guys are still using summer tyres? Isn't it icy and snowy in UK?

I mean we probably do need a winter tyre for maybe 3 days of the year but it's just not worth it.

I run summers all year round. Also running Michelin Pilot Sport 5's

And on those 3 days I just jump on a bus if I must get somewhere.

Good choice, superb tyre!

I’m happy to say that the Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres feel great, the car feels more pointy and wants to change direction quicker. Road noise seems the same and the ride is very slightly harder so I’m really happy and glad I choose these tyres.
