Replacement wing mirror glass

Some kind motorcyclist punched my wing mirror off this morning, thanks for that mate, much appreciated

Anyway thankfully only the glass needs replacing, wierd thing is appears to be a heated unit with the 2 wires attached - I've never thought my car had a heated mirrors, if so they've never blimmin' worked !

I suppose Halfrauds do replacement heated glass ? - I'm gessing this is the same as a Golf Mk4 mirror ? (Leon Cupra Mk1 - electric folding mirrors )

The heated mirrors should work when the heated rear screen button is used.
Might be better to go to the dealers for a replacement or local TPS. If you have the older rectangular MK4 mirrors then ebay may be cheaper as there is loads of choice. Even get the blue tinted versions

just got off the phone to EuroCarparts - replacement heated glass on the way for £18 , which I didn't think was too bad.

I'd still like a word with that organ donor .. sorry I meant biker
