My wiper blades after two years of use have started to smear so checked the Seat website for prices, £39 for front pair. Found after a bit of digging the above website Bosch front and rear for just over £26 and if you put SAVE5 in promo code box another 5% off AND free delivery, bargain or what??

I ordered a front set of the Bosch Aerotwins from eurocarparts for £20, went to pick up, paid the bill only to find the drivers side was 2" shorter than OEM wipers. Went straight back in as I was fitting them in the car park, asked for a 26" to replace the 24" but they would not swap it as it was part of a set, passenger side was correct at 16". So they tried to sell me the correct size as separates but wanted to charge an extra £15, so I got a refund and walked away empty handed. Googled around and ended up ordering the separates from the same place, collection from a different branch, but with on line discount for £10 less than they tried to charge me over the counter, went to pick up the next day, only to find the order had not gone through to branch so the guy behind the counter sold me the separates at full trade discount, less than £21 incl vat!

Didn't check that, just put in my reg. and came up with the parts. Fitted them today and didn't see a difference.
If they are Bosch and came in a twin pack, they may be 24"/16" but the OEMs fitted to ours were 26"/16" so I had to buy as separates hence the slightly higher price.

Will give it a check tomorrow as it's hissing down at the moment , thanks for the info. and if there is a difference will fire off an email to them.

If they're Bosch Aerotwins then they will definitely be 24"/16". I think it's because the 5f Leon is the only car that uses these sizes and Bosch can't be bothered packaging them up just for us. The 24"/16" packs are used (I think) on the new Polos and Octavias so there's more of a market for them.

Meppershall Beds.
I got the Aerotwins from euro car parts as a pair, and mine were 24/16 - but the ones fitted to the car were the same!
not 26...how bloody peculiar is that?

Yes mine were 24 and 16 inch so fired off an email stating that driver side oem blade is 26 inch. By return an email saying 26 inch blade sent out by return. Outstanding service imho and will reply suggesting they inform Bosch the correct size for the Leon.

Bosch know the oem size but they choose not to supply (possibly) for the reason mentioned above. Bosch make it very clear in their literature which is accessible/supplied to resellers. Carparts4less should have mentioned it in their description...other resellers do.

They do give the sizes but unless you know that it is 26" which I didn't and who would, you think it is correct.. When you put in all the detail regarding your car you expect the sizes to be correct, think this is a cop out from Bosch and imo a way to lose customers if they are putting data on their boxes which is incorrect and a breach of the trades description act.
It was only by putting a post on here that I found out and that is what the forum is for to help one another.

I will now get off my high horse:lol:
