As SEAT does not offer electric seats with memory I went with the standard Cupra sport seats (non bucket). Some of the recent longer trips made me search for better aftermarket seats. The factory ones are lacking some comfort for my butt and thighs. Lumbar support and back are OK, but nowhere near "very comfortable".

I was wondering, if some quality seats from a recent Audi S3 or S4 model would fit the car size and bracket wise. Ideally it would be electric seats. In understand that this may require some extra harness. Would that be a lot of work? Could the memory support be activated using some external module (not replacing the car's built-in comfort module, if that would mean losing warranty) - using Arduino perhaps?

Is there anyone who's done something similar?

Alternatively, are there any services offering to upholster the current seats with more comfortable materials?

Strange I could not find any. I live in Slovakia, for that matter. The only thing I could find on the internet were bucket seats in all colors.

I know there's a lot of places here in the UK and especially the US that specialise in upholstery repair or change. I've seen them on Wheeler Dealers and Car SOS, they must exist...

Have you tried looking for a general upholstery repair place, they might replace everything for you if you can take the seats out.

Thanks for the advice. I have now found some general upholstery services for cars. They mostly do 'repairs'. I wonder if they can convert the seats to more ergonomic and comfortable. Will have to find out.
