Reset ECU?

Before you all shout at me to use the search I already have with no joy? Please can someone tell how to reset the ECU? Thanks

Don't believe you couldn't find this... but...

Disconnect the negative lead from the battery for 30 minutes.

BUT MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR STEREO CODE BEFORE YOU DO THIS!!

When you connect it again, plumb in the code for the stereo and wind down your windows all the way to the bottom... then back up again, so the control module learns where the top and bottom is again.
