Just got a leon 20vt and had problems with oil light on amber. Looking through threads sounds like disconnecting the battery may work, but all say the throttle body will need restting!! Please can anyone explain how to do this and any other things that may need doing too
hi just reading through your thread there and to be honest it sound more like your oil level sensor on the sump is faulty. Resetting your throttle with do no gd. Oil lights and throttle bodies are completly different. If u want to enquire a throttle body reset i suggest a throttle body clean check, this means u'll have your throttle body cleaned out and have it reset aswell cheers
Thanks everyone, as i went out to car this morning for some strange reason the light had decided to go off. but thanks for the tips. just hope this doesn't happen again.
Just to say i traded in a leon tdi se for the cupra and all I can say is WOW!!!!
