had my ibiza mapped @ jabba yesterday, my mods are

green dynatwist
forge 007dv
samco TIP
K03s turbo
Forge actuator
Forge FMIC
Blueflame 2.75" in downpipe
blueflame 2.5" system
4 bar FPR

made 232bhp @ the wheels :D which they calculated to 250bhp because i have standard wheels on there. that is a very very low transmission loss though? my cars i;ve had in the past were all FWD and had a bigger transmission loss than that? i'm chuffed to bits, as i have around the same power @ the wheels as an EVO FQ330 and much much less weight :D oh and i got 283lbs/ft of torque :D acceleration is amazing in any gear. i can't stop smiling. i was noticeably quicker than a porsche caymann S 3.4 from motorway speeds onwards, and he was well impressed with my car.

so if i put standard wheels on my car it makes it more powerful?
great, what a cheap mod!

so are you saying that the transmition loss is low that the carf actually produces more than 250bhp at the flywheel?

sorry but i cant see that being the case with that spec.

exactly! i don;t know why it is so low. but 232bhp @ the wheels is very good. he did mention that the forge actuatir allowed the K03s to peak higher. i'll scan the graph in when i'm at home later.

andy - smaller wheels won't give you more power. but it will reduce transmission loss. hence better acceleration.

what power @ the wheels have others got from K03s?

not that much...sounds quite suspect sorry mate, standard wheels creating low transmission losses? :wtf: its not like you have swapped 16s for a set of 13s!

in my book you should have around 30bhp loss..and if your car is producing over 260bhp realistically then...well...honestly im speechless

interested to see how the forge actuator has affected the boost

bet it flys though, mine is mental on k03 turbo, with that little bit extra on top it should be insane

it peaks at 26psi on the K03s with the forge actuator. quite high. the guy at jabba said he had never mapped a K03s with a forge actuator before and he had to wind it right out just to get it down to 25-26psi.

it really does shift. pulls on my mates stripped out 245bhp cooper s so easily.

Are you sure its not 232bhp @ the fly?

As mine made 220bhp @ the fly and 170-180bhp @ the wheels on a revo stage 2 with nearly the same mods!

What is a forge actuator might have to get one!

If you getting 40-50bhp more than me at the wheels i've be very pi**ed! & it will probably worth me getting a jabba remapp for that kind of increase!

Can you post your graph so i can compare please!

yes mate, i certainly will. i will post the graph later. it says 232bhp @ the wheels and 247bhp @ the flywheel. i can't explain the transmission loss, but the cooper S i mentioned above can beat my other mates 236bhp K03s ibiza but it can't get anywhere near mine?! i was also told the forge intercooler was the b*llocks and ones with laguna FMIC or a&m FMIC don;t make the same power?!

Essex_Cupra dont waste your cash mate. They'll be practically the same on the road.

I was offered a *cough* custom remap when I had Revo Stage 2 on my Ibiza with the promise of a better *cough* custom map....would it have made 400-600 quids worth of difference?

Would it fcuk!!

i can't say they wouldn't be different, but as i said, my mates 236bhp K03s ibiza gets beaten by our mates mini, and my car kills the mini. i will have a direct race with the 236bhp ibiza and let you know. i don't know what power he has at the wheels. i would guess at about 206bhp.

also, it might not just be the map. i was told the forge intercooler was superior to the others. and i have a forge actuatior so my boost is peaking higher.

Nick, was the 236bhp Ibiza dyno'd at Jabba?

yes mate, mapped and dyno'd at Jabba. used to belong to leepey on here. on the same rollers that had only 4bhp more @ the flywheel than i have at the wheels?! i will have to meet up with another K03s ibiza off here to compare

surley 26psi through a Ko3S is not good!

that's what the man who mapped it said! it only peaks at 26psi if i floor it in 5th, but any other gear it goes to 24-25psi, but only for a split second. doesn't hold that at all. drops to about 20psi instantly then slowly drops down to about 12-13psi

How does the power hold? Any idea what psi you're seeing at 6k Nick? Hooch was spiking about 24psi after he fitted the Forge acuator on the very turbo you have now :D It'll be the acuator making the difference. But 232bhp @ the wheels still sounds a little optimistic. Need to get that graph uploaded boy!

Great figures by the way!

i know, he said that to me, but i have a forge actuator so he couldn;t get it below that. i was told he likes to let the K03s peak at 22psi. but even with my actuator wound right out it was peaking at 24-25psi. he said he was a bit worried about the veins on it but it should be ok. it's only there for literally a second if that.

I heard that jabba didn't rate the Forge FMIC (well, the pipework actually).

Regardless, I do have that on mine and it was mapped at JS.
Spec on mine is close to yours, bar the actuator & Samco TIP.

Look forward to seeing your graph though, as mine made 234 @ the fly and 212 @ the wheels.

If JS reckon you're getting 250bhp @ the fly then that's only 7% transmission losses (highly unlikely). Based on your transmission losses being approx. 15% then your cars pushing mid 260's bhp.

What does it peak at (BHP)?
