How does the power hold? Any idea what psi you're seeing at 6k Nick? Hooch was spiking about 24psi after he fitted the Forge acuator on the very turbo you have now :D It'll be the acuator making the difference. But 232bhp @ the wheels still sounds a little optimistic. Need to get that graph uploaded boy!

Great figures by the way!

yeah hooch told me he was spiking at 24psi, but he was on revo stage 2 wasn't he?

it hits 24-25psi, then drops to about 20psi instantly then slowly drops right through. it made peak power at 4800rpm and it's at about 14-15psi at those revs. at 6000rpm it's on about 12psi. i find i have to change gear at different revs in each gear! useless holding 4th gear to 6000rpm as your not getting as much boost.

i'll get the graph uploaded tonight.

wont it be the high PSI, making it the BHP it is ??? if its 4 psi higher than normal then surely you will see higher BHP ???

not sure if any of that makes sence ??

I heard that jabba didn't rate the Forge FMIC (well, the pipework actually).

Regardless, I do have that on mine and it was mapped at JS.
Spec on mine is close to yours, bar the actuator & Samco TIP.

Look forward to seeing your graph though, as mine made 234 @ the fly and 212 @ the wheels.

If JS reckon you're getting 250bhp @ the fly then that's only 7% transmission losses (highly unlikely). Based on your transmission losses being approx. 15% then your cars pushing mid 260's bhp.

What does it peak at (BHP)?

peaks at 232bhp @ 4800rpm - at the wheels

and 385nm of torque i think.

i will try and get the graph up later so you lot can have a look.

i was told the samco TIP helps alot as the standard intake collapses a bit with that much boost going through it.

i thought the exact sam thing mate. but it's making peak power at 4800rpm, so i drove up the road and at 4800rpm it's at about 14-15psi. it holds this boost for the longest

Yeah he was on Revo Stage 2 and was hitting 24psi but mine was still faster :p

Yours sounds the same as mine minus the spike to 24/25. Mine will hit 21 (Jabba map k03s to 1.5bar which is 21.6psi) hold and start dropping slowly.
The graph will make things clearer.

It's only high as it spools up. It settles back down to 20-21psi thereafter and gradually decreases as you go through the rev range, finishing on about 12-14psi @ redline.

Sustaining the boost as long as possible will give higher BHP.

To be honest this doesn't sound any different to other K03S maps.
I'd take the RR figures with a pinch of salt, the main thing is you're happy with the way the car performs, which you obviously are :)

People will always doubt the figures yours has achieved (with or without the graph) purely because the turbo can only shift so much air through at a given rpm. My RR graphs from the past have ranged between 233bhp up to 253bhp depending on where it's been done. Torque has always been spot on though (280lb ft).

Is it a red Ibiza? Is it the same Leepey (Lee H.). I thought he had the AM FMIC on that or did you/he change it?

yes, my mate now owns leepey's old flash red cupra. yep he has got the a&m intercooler, but he is still running the standard TIP. that made 236bhp @ the fly. mine is onvi yellow.

i will post the graph up later. 232bhp @ the wheels does seem high. as you say i'm happy with the performance so that's all that matters! :D

Ahh I see, sorry, I was getting my wires crossed. I thought you had Leepey's old car (was wondering why you'd change the FMIC, lol).

Get that graph up mate, still v. interested to see it. :D

Is that going off a few graphs or one graph?
My peak power shifts dependant on RR.

JS - 5650rpm
Powerstation - 5050rpm
Stealth - 5400rpm

I don't know what to believe TBH.

yeah, all RR readouts are different, but what i'm saying is that jabbas wouldnt change readings for different cars surely?! i can understand it not being fair comparing mine to another one RR'd at somewhere else, but surely another ibiza that has been RR'd at jabba would be a good comparison?

1 Graph with normal ko3 with stage 1 revo got 180bhp 4500rpm i think then with 232lb torque

I'm thinking if i go back to stage 1 will it give me a higher bhp?!

Those new rollers must have 'loosened' upa quite a bit.

I wouldnt worry about figures much, if it feels quick then it probably is. :D

Would it be an idea to start a new thread so people can post up there RR graph on the ko3's turbo so they can be compared...

Will give us an idea on the best maps and best mods ?
