Retro fitting folding mirrors?

Hi i did a quick search but couldnt find out the answer for definate. Can anyone tell me if i can fit electrically folding mirrors from a cupra r to an 05 leon fr without the electrically folding mirrors?
Would it be a simple case of taking the mirrors, switch on the drivers door and the wiring from the cupra r and swapping it with the fr's?
If anyone can tell me for sure it would be very much appreciated!

I know of someone who has done this on a mk4 golf because we supplied the parts, i think you need to change the whole door wiring looms, mirrors and switch and then it has to be plugged in at dealer to tell the car its now got folding mirrors for them to work. but like i say this was for a golf but surely it wont be much differant at all

i guess get the mirrors and switches and should be ok , i want to do this as a real pain folding in and out all the time,

i wud have thought theres wires run from switch to the motors

Im sure that there is a thread on uk mkivs as someone did this on a bora.
Worth a look.
