I was looking for some upgrade for my Leon en found something it doesnt have from factory but want to try it on my car.

I found a kit with a active TMPS reciever and 4 sensors for in the wheels.

TMPS Set

Doesnt look to hard to install so i did give it a go. It worked on previous models so why not on my car.

Ordered the parts and start fitting all in the car. This was not that easy as i tought at first. First connected them to the DCC canbus wires but the module wasn't visible. First i tought i have a bad module en looked for a second hand one to try iff that is the problem. It wasn't. .

So i need to look for another solution. Because this is never mounted on a Leon i have to find out where the canbus wires need to be connected. Download a few wiring diagrams from other cars to figure it out. It took me a while to see why it wasnt working. The canbus was connected to the wrong Canbus wires and i need to connect the wires at the gateway on the right wires.

The canbus wires need to be connected on the right canbus wires wich are comming from the gateway or else it wont work.

After i finialy have time to do so i connected them to the wires at the gateway and finaly i found the module with vcds/odis. Now we are there. Now putting in the right dataset for my car to get it all working. I wanted to select wich load the car have with wich pressure in the wheels. Started some coding to get it al visible and the car needs to now its now active TMPS and not anymore with the ABS Sensors.

And see the results

Wow!!! It's awesome. Something I'd like to have in my Leon. We'll have a look at it. Do you have a brico with the steps to install and configure? Thanks.

Where can I find it?

It's a pity we need expensive software to do it. I would even attempt to do it my self if I could.

Wow!! I can't access it, it seems I have no permission.

Nice work and great guide!

Can I recommend adding a step about noting the serial numbers before the sensors are installed? Hopefully most people will read the full guide first but it might catch someone out when they get to step 40 and realise they need the numbers from the sensors after they've been fitted..

Found a good looking alternative for anyone who doesn't want all the installation hassle too: https://shop.autogem.co.uk/product/retro-fit-tpms-bj03/tpms-retrofit-kit-with-display-tpak01

would you be able to show how you made the connection to the fuses? that´s the only part I´m not sure about.

Thank you Antera. Will you still get the warning from the car if you have a puncture? The other day I hit something on the road and burst a tyre, in 5 seconds I got a message in the cockpit saying the tyre was low.

Do you connect it to a fuse that only has power when the car is on? or to one that has power all the time?

is Databus infotainment the same as Can_infotainment?
I got the Module installed and I tried just to see if it was working properly to code as your manual. I could do everything except for the CAN_Infotainment as I don´t seem to have that option. See images of my options Databus_infotainment is the only option with the word "infotainment" on it.
