After a lot of research and bought wrong airbag slip ring parts it finally worked all.

Start and modus button works fine.

You need 3 parts for it.
- 5Q1953549G airbag slipring
- 5Q1953507GG stalk
- Cable set Kufatec ( need tot repin it)

After install connect wires for start button to excisting start button. To let work the start button on the steering wheel.

For the Modus button you need to reprogram in databus 19. With odis or vcp.

Ah!...and I'm missing the actual wheel with the satelite buttons (VAG part?)

Im having trouble finding it except direct from Seat who want £450 for the privelige....

Hi, ik zou een stuur met startknop willen monteren in mijn Cupra Formentor. Kost het veel moeite of is het wel te doen? En werkt stuurverwarming dan ook? En wat heb ik allemaal nodig?

Sleepring moet je vervangen, stuurwielverwarming blijft werken. Ook heb je een andere airbag kabel nodig en dataset voor de modus knop.

Staat hier ergens op het forum. Van een leon 5F is nagenoeg hetzelfde. Moet kabel trekken naar de abs ecu.
