Hi Guys,

Quick question about the passenger wing mirror on the new copra, it seems to reposition when i put it in reverse but it doesnt do this every time seems to only do it when it feels like it. is there a way to get it to do this all the time or is there a reason why it only does it sometimes ?

thanks

It can be positioned to show you the curb for when you park.

Make sure you mirror switch is pointing to L, then put it in R then move it so you can see the curb better (right down and out a bit) then put it back in P and it will store the position.

As long as you leave the switch on L it will always dip to the position you just set (it goes back to normal when you go back into D or P)

Make sure the wing mirror adjuster thing is kept on L all the time.. should dip when on L, not on any of the others though.

Edited that as confused me haha...

I have the same thing on my FR. I have it set up, and the switch pointing to L, but when I put it in reverse, it will only lower the mirror about 75% of the time. Also, when i take it out of reverse, sometime the mirror will stay in the down position until i turn off the ignition and turn it back on again...

I think(cos' I can't check it right now), that the mirror only comes back into the normal driving position once you get to 5mph in forward gear....
