Yea was good banter. Need to go again soon!

Little update..... I unexpectly got a Revo remap after work, which im DELIGHTED with  cant really upload a pic of that but will get some clean ones at the weekend.

So on mega saving stingy mode until my holiday

Re-doing all the vents though as i ballsed them up first time round. Got a coat of white primer on tonight will do the rest when i can. Pics to follow. :)

i love this car man! how about some window tints? just my opinion haha and painting the grey bit on the rear bumper black to match your roof?

cheers man.
tinting the windows would be sweet actualy, havent thought too much about that or the costs? would be getting done proper though, none of this film stuff.
Yea thats one of my next plans, along with all the 'grey' grills etc. All gloss black to match :)

yeah good shout man! erm i know your not after the film but its about 120 quid for the back three windows just in case you wanted to know haha

Yea quote i got was £140 for back 3, £190 full car. £140 doesn't sound too bad i think. Maybe later on in the year.

For another update, i got both b pillars resprayed because of rust appearing.

Sucks having to pay for it but owel..

Got my vents surrounds painted after the awful 1st attempt i made, still not brilliant but they're ok. Cant seem to pop them back in properly in the middle but will have to do i suppose. Also scratched the sh*t out of the dash getting them out in the first place =/

Let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions :)

Looking fresh mate, was just wondering about whether you vinyled or painted the front 'lip' on the bumper that runs under the grill. I wanna get mine done and I assumed it was done by a vinyl wrap.

It was painted actually, same time as my mirror caps but i recomend wrapping it. The amount of stone chips, its starting to look white again. I have wrap here in the house but havent got around to trying to put it on!

Mine is painted aswel mines stonechipped aswel i did have it wrapped back in 2010 till i broke the car that got some chips on it aswel tbf. iv also got rid of the grey inserts on rear bumper and painted them black

Ah ok, that brings me onto another question then. Any idea where I can get some plain black vinyl from? I've searched eBay but it's all carbon wrap (which I don't want) or rolls of 1mx10m, which is far too much and costs about £15. Ideally I need 1mx0.3m I think after measuring the lip and giving myself some extra space.
Also, I'm fitting a splitter, should I vinyl up before or after fitting it?

The guy who painted mine took the splitter off so its maybe easier. I got my vinyl off ebay for like a fiver. Not sure how long it is but for a fiver... Just try and search different things.

Ah ok, well I managed to get some vinyl for £4 on eBay so I'll have a go with that in the week. Hopefully I can get the splitter on today.

I love you car. Ps prefer the black strips

cheers mate, you do like the strips? Everyone keeps telling me to match them with the car, but goes with the wheels and roof i think

The splitter is a bit of a nightmare seemenly, not that i would know...bought the car with it on :p Worth the hassel though, looks the part. Let me know how you get on with the wrap, i gave up after looking at it!

Ok so my coilovers are fcuked! Bit of advice to everyone, dont buy cheap coilovers especially the fk street. You get what you pay for, so go all out for suspension. Hopefully order new shocks and springs for end of next month.

Not much to update on recently. For anyone who has sub in the boot problems i fixed up two 6mm bits of plywood and cut them to the shape of my boot. Sub doesnt sink through to where the sare wheel used to be now i just need to get some bungee cords to stop it shifting about in my boot now
