A very specific question but i'm considering the revo remap at JKM (portsmouth) to take my pd130 to 170bhp and 280lb ft torque quoted online for £350. My mate had his mk4 golf gti anniversary done there with full exhaust system and hes had no problems and it seems to make a big difference! Just wondering if anyone here has had their mk4 done and how they've found it? ta, Rach :)

I had my FR done by P Toruqe. power wise i got 182bhp and 282lbft of torque and mine was £260 with before and after rolling road runs iirc.

I must admit I would choose P-torque also. Well....I have for my hybrid! :D

Not only is Will cheaper but has good results and the before and after rolling road printout. And a rolling road day normally charges £30-£50. So can't complain.

A lot of people go to the big companies but I had my car remapped by Chipboost.com at Scarborough. I got a 186.1bhp and 286.9ft/lb of torque result and only paid £200 for it. ;) Can't be bad eh? ;)

yeh its 3 hours from portsmouth or 1.5 hours from oxford where i am most of the time. Something to think about i guess for nearly £100 less for the remap. What if something goes wrong and i need to take it back there tho? haha not good :(

hey im near portsmouth and i made the treck! it doesnt take aslong as multimap says. i done it in about 2 and a half hours

Ok i'll have to get quotes from both and work out cost of making the trip against how much JKM offer and stuff! I'll have to get all geeky with a calculator for a day :)

I have to travel from Somerset to get the work done! Takes me about 2 or so hours to get there. But the way I see it, the longer the drive to get there - the longer the fun on the way back! :D

This is true! Only good thing about the drive somewhere you cant be too bothered to go, is the drive back! :D and after a remap i expect i will enjoy it that little bit more :funk:

I've had 2 P-Torque remaps and made the 400 mile round trip twice! It doesn't take long from Oxford, its exactly half way there for me. JKM is closer and I get other work done there...they are very good. But P-Torque is a great remap

I have had my Revo stage one at JKM - Good service and felt the difference strait away. I did not get a rolling road at the same time tho so I can't say what the specific figure is. I'm getting some big work done with them in march and I also think they are worth travelling for.

Im running Revo stage1 on my PD130 at current. Its not too bad, but id personally reccomend finding your nearest custom code dealer.

The top 4 quickest stage 1 PD130 ibiza to run at santa pod, i believe have all had custom code software.

They may not quote or get the highest figures, but they are the quickest in reality.
