waste of time, buy a car that's already got 4wd.
If I wanted 4wd in a leon that much, I'd put up with LHD.
i actually prefer LHD so i'd rather go for a standard one but then a cossie powered 4x4 puma or mk1 escort does have a nice feel to it too
whenever i have transplanted anything like that in the past it's been way far off anything that could be considered 'daily driver' but gotta admit it was a hell of a lot easier in the past though - good old RWD
rover v8 :
mk1 cavalier / mk1+3 cortina / mk1 escort / marina van / vauxhall viva (also cut into a pickup)
Pinto 2.0:
vx chevette / mk1 escort
Fiat twincam:
mk1+2 escort
and the viva engine and susp ended up in a RWD mini using a triumph vitesse rear end which was and interesting drive
as you can tell weekends in my youth were spent on a 4 car driveway with 10/12 mates all cutting/grinding/drinking and putting silly ideas into practice managed to get all 12 of us in the viva pickup and still managed donuts

ahh the good old days
